Some tips
If you’re receiving unwanted calls (such as harassment or threats), you should file a complaint with the police. If you've already done so and have questions about the investigation, direct those questions to the police, as TADAAM cannot share any information directly.
Here are some tips to help you recognize and avoid suspicious calls:
The best protection is to simply not answer or return unknown calls!
Good to know: If you don’t want to receive commercial calls, you can register for the "do not call me" list by dialing 02 882 19 75.
Looking up a caller’s details:
If the caller is listed in the Witte Gids (phone directory), you can find their name or number by calling 1207.
Ombudsman for Telecommunications:
If you know the number but aren’t sure who’s behind the calls, you can submit a complaint to the Ombudsman’s Office for Telecommunications. They can look up the caller’s details, and it’s a good idea to also report it to the police.
Note: If the call came from an international or prepaid number, tracing the details might not be possible.
